Currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to work in the Transfusion Service LaboratoryResponsibilities include:
Conducting compatibility testing on blood and blood components according to the standard operating procedures, receiving and processing orders for patient transfusion, and performing a wide variety of detailed laboratory tasks including complex secondary procedures on blood components
Requirements include:
Bachelor of Science degree in clinical laboratory science or other biological science or equivalent; education must meet CMS/CLIA qualification requirements to perform high complexity testing. MLS (ASCP), MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification and prior laboratory experience strongly preferred.
