As the Primary Home Care Assistant Director for Our Community Care division, you will assist the Director as necessary to ensure completion of unit duties in order to meet deadlines, to maintain high standards for quality client care.
Directly oversee the daily workings of the Primary Home Care department including field and office staff.
Resolves client complaints.
Assist with resolution of PHC Payroll problems.
Perform review of coordinator functions to ensure compliance with contract standards.
Review Primary Home Care paperwork to ensure accuracy and quality.
Conduct weekly staff meetings and in-services as needed for field and office staff.
Participate in Community Relations activities including recruitment and community awareness.
Maintain rapport with all referral sources. Maintain communication with Community Care Coordinator re: any Caseworker related issues.
Maintain confidentiality on all client, attendant and staff information.
Responsible for having thorough knowledge of information in the Primary Home Care Provider Manual and periodic manual updates.
Responsible for managing and training all office support staff.
Degree in health care related field preferred.
Two years experience in management in a health care setting preferred.
Strong skills in leadership, communication and decision making.
Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
