StarMed has partnered with the largest most comprehensive hospital in West Central Florida and we're looking to add an experienced Nurse Manager to their Primary Care / Med Surg unit! This hospital was named the Best Hospital in this area and was recognized as one of America's Best Hospitals for 2017-2018 in six specialties!
Brief description of the position:
Provides clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on a specific unit/units. Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the programmatic, operational and financial management of the unit/program. Interviews, hires, assigns work to and evaluates work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of the hospital.
Brief list of requirements to be considered for the role:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida in good standing
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
2-3 years of management experience preferred, national certification preferred.
