What do you need to bring to the table?
Registered Nurse with particular expertise in neurological and/or neurosurgical evaluation, treatment, and specialized expertise in critical care for patients with severe and/or complex neurological/neurosurgical conditions.
MINIMUM three years of stroke patient care nursing experience as an RN with an emphasis in critical care.
Previous stroke nursing education experience.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of stroke patient care in a complex acute care setting.
Demonstrated success in program development preferred in a leadership role.
Knowledge with stroke data bases and Joint Commission standards for primary stroke certification.
Stroke committee participation.
Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain.
Current BLS & ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.
