An Inpatient Acute care Hospital is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to service as an Interim Therapy Rehab Manager for the Physical Therapy department. This 13 week for 40 hours a week contract/travel position is located in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. This PT must have Wound Vac experience. It is preferred that the Physical Therapist provide the Director with feedback on the clinical aspects within the department; what is working, what needs improvement, etc. The Physical Therapist would also be responsible for interfacing with Physicians and handling issue resolution. The 13 week contract Physical Therapist will not be responsible for staff evaluations or completing competencies.
This Physical Therapist will be assisting the inpatient acute department on the management side for 13 weeks. It is preferred but not required that the Physical Therapist has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. The therapy rehab department is tenured and it's important that this PT individual comes with experience! Since this facility is an acute care facility, the Physical Therapist must have experience working in an inpatient setting.
It is required that the Physical Therapist have a Nevada state Physical Therapy license and a BLS through the American Heart Association.
The start time is 6:30am, as the Rehab Staff starts their day at 7:00am. The therapy rehab department provides therapy services on Saturday and Sunday. The Physical Therapy Rehab Manager will need to work on occasion some Saturdays and Sundays in order to interact with weekend Rehab Staff.
