Occupational Therapist needed for a 40 hour a week, 13 week contract position in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This OT will be working in a beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility Tuesday through Sunday shift. This Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is located in the scenic foothills of Lake Tahoe in Nevada and only 30 minutes from downtown Reno, NV. The Occupational Therapist will have the opportunity to work a small nursing home, where the patients are known by their name and not by a number. The OT will be a part of a staff that is dedicated to providing quality, compassionate and innovative health care. This 56 bed SNF facility offers skilled nursing, long term care, stroke rehabilitation, occupational and physical therapy. As an OT, you will be working at a Skilled Nursing Facility that was voted Best Nursing Homes from the U.S. News and World report.
The Occupational Therapist will working a schedule of Tuesday through Sunday, 40 hours a week. The OT will be responsible of supervising 2 COTA's on staff. Occupational Therapists with all skill sets are welcome to apply, however OT's with recent experience in Skilled Nursing is preferred.
