Description
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Evaluates, plans and administers to patients in accordance with physician orders, and accepts standards of professional practice.
Evaluates treatment efficacy and patient progress and makes any necessary adjustments in the care plan to optimize patient care.
Performs and maintains documentation.
Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
Gives Excellent customer services to our patients and residents.
Complies with the state and federal regulatory requirements.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Masters degree in Physical Therapy
Current Nebraska Physical Therapy Licensure
BLS
ACLS
Familiar with the principals and practices of Physical Therapy according to the APTA Code of Ethics as outlined by the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services.
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, may vary a little depending on patient load and schedule.
Weekend and holiday rotation if necessary for In-patient treatments (rotates between 4 therapist and usually only have to come in for 2-4 hours if there are any In-patients.)

We are a Critical Access Hospital with an attached nursing home and assisted living. In the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Department we have 4 Physical Therapists, 1 Physical Therapy Assistant, 2 Aides, 1 Occupational Therapist and 1 Speech Therapist.
