We are currently looking for an Outpatient PT. This is a 13 week opportunity in beautiful Washington.
This is a 40 hr. a week position in Port Angeles and Sequim for a 3 month assignment. 8-5 shift and I believe they will need to work every other weekend.
JOB SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part. Consults with medical and professional staff to plan and coordinate joint patient management objectives. Acts as a case manager for patients when primary need is for physical therapy. Has contact with patients under a variety of circumstances. Is subject to varying and unpredictable situations and occasionally to irregular hours.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in physical therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience as a physical therapist. One year of experience in providing rehabilitative therapy to a variety of patients including the elderly. Home Health experience required.
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
·Licensed to practice as physical therapist in the State of Washington.
· Current BLS certification.
OTHER
· Valid Washington driver's license.
