If you are looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity, join the team of Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital. This newly constructed hospital will serve patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The 50-bed hospital will be a joint venture partnership between Dignity and Kindred Healthcare and is currently under construction in Chandler, Arizona. The PRN Speech Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated caseload and provides speech therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments in accordance with established hospital and department policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. A Speech Therapist accurately assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; and works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. These functions are carried out according to hospital policy in accordance with the mission and vision of the hospital and consistent with the philosophy of the department. #MON-HRS #LI-HRS Qualifications: Must have a current Speech and Language Pathologist/Therapist License in the state. Must have a Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card. 1-2 years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist/Therapist preferred.
