POSITION:
Speech Language Pathologist Part Time; 24 hours/week JOB DESCRIPTION:
Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language and swallowing diagnostic and therapy techniques in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations and standards of practice as set forth by the American speech and Hearing Association. In addiction, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for program development and interdepartmental relations under their control. Under Direction of Director of Rehabilitation. Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care. Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient's personal characteristics. ABOUT THE FACILITY:
Clinical Setting Hospital Information 25 licensed acute care beds 66 skilled nursing long-term care beds Physicians: Active: 14; Courtesy: 19; Consulting: 6 244 hospital employees REQUIREMENTS:
New graduates acceptable, prefer 2 years experience Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited school NM SLP Licensure; Current BLS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain such certification
