24 hour emergency access to our officesRequirements for success in this OTR/OT/Occupational Therapist job in a HOME HEALTH setting:Assess patient's daily living/work-related skills and develop retraining programs with measurable objectives
Work with patient in accordance with physician orders to improve patient's strength, range of motion and function for optimal living
Coordinate and oversee Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides performance in following plan of patient care
Provide monitoring and education to staff, family and caregivers to improve patients participation in their rehabilitation
Administrating, creating and organizing individual plans of treatment for patients to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions
Maintaining patient documentation in accordance with facility policy and procedures
Effective communication skills to advise, consult and instruct members of the multi-disciplinary team in specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions
Must have graduated from an ACOTE accredited school and have a valid NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy).
Active state OTR/OT/Occupational Therapist license or the ability to obtain the required state license
