The Orthopedic NP/PA opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO:
-Start date: July 9, 2018
-Duration: Now open and on-going
-Schedule: The need is a mix of 24-hour call and clinic. 1 week they may need 40 hours in the clinic (M-F 8a-5p) and the next week they may schedule 24-hour call shifts. Providers need to be flexible.
-Call aspect is in-house call coverage
-Providers need to have trauma level I experience and be able to assist in trauma surgeries. Opening and closing required. Must also possess experience to assist in hand and facial trauma surgeries as well as other Orthopedic cases.
-EMR: EPIC with Dragon
-Average of 15-20 patients scheduled per day in clinic
-Hospital has a total of 180 beds; 29 ICU beds
-12 exam rooms in clinic
-Average daily census in hospital is 35 admissions – 30% of those are ortho for trauma
-95% adult, 5% pediatric
**Required: ACLS, Colorado medical license at time of submission, Level I trauma experience, if NP must have RNFA experience

**Preferred: NCCPA, AANPCP, ANCC, PALS, ATLS
