Description
The neurology locum tenens opportunity in Sacramento….
-Duration: December 2019 – July 2020 (with potential for extension)
-Reason for recruitment: Retirement
-Location: Sacramento, CA
-Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p (may consider part time)
-Shift: 40-60 minutes for new consults, 15-20 minutes for follow ups
-Call: Rotating, 10 per month (negotiable)
>acute stroke call is taken from neighboring stroke center
-Call volume: 0-2 per 24 hours
-Scope: EMG, EEG, adult only
-Patient volume: 12-16 per day (once ramped up)
-Group: 3 neurologists
-Affiliated Hospital: 108, Level 2 trauma center
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with California license
