Across our many campuses, there is a wealth of clinical material with basic and translational research resources along with educational avenues for training medical students and residents.

The Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting multiple full-time neuro interventionalists and neurosurgeons in the fields of endovascular, spine, pediatrics, trauma, critical care and peripheral nerve, to join our distinguished faculty of 26 MDs and 7 PhDs. These well-qualified new faculty members will manage and build upon a thriving academic department at the Assistant/Associate, and/or Professor rank.

Great potential exists to develop clinical or laboratory research within the framework of the Rutgers and RWJBarnabas Health institutions. Exceptional teamwork, program development, teaching, and mentorship abilities are essential, though we also welcome applicants with a demonstrated ability to develop independent research programs with extramural funding. The candidates will be expected to contribute to clinical and educational activities with an emphasis on mentoring students and trainees. Prospective applicants interested in basic research will also be granted protected time to develop lab interests and acquire funding.
