Description
The Cardiothoracic Locum Tenens opportunity in southern California
-Duration: Start in 90 days, and on-going
-Shifts: 7-10 per month, call coverage only
-Call: 7a-7a, rarely emergency cases
-Cases: Cardiac and thoracic surgery cases as needed (CABG, AVR, MVR, Thoracotomy, Chest tube, ect.)
-Scope: New consults, cath lab, ER and rounding
-Support: 1 other Physician on during call shift during the week, 1 or 2 Pas are on call each day for round, OR assist, vein harvest
-EMR: Cerner
-Large Spanish and Russian speaking population
-Hospital: Second largest heart program in southern, CA 463 bed facility
-Facility: Fully equipped surgical suites for open heart, thoracic, and complex valve surgeries
-Required: Board certified, California license, 5 years of experience
