Bangor, Maine: We seek a DENTAL THERAPIST to join a large, respected FQHC/community health center system in Maine’s third largest city. This organization offers an integrated Medical Home Model, providing services to thousands of area residents regardless of their ability to pay. Programs here include dentistry plus primary care/urgent care, addiction treatment, chiropractic services, women’s health, podiatry, physical therapy, mental health counseling and more. More than 700 employees – including over 200 clinical providers – operate their sixteen practices and program service sites.

The incoming Dental Therapist will have graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene Therapy training program and must be prepared to practice as a dental hygienist and therapist. NEW GRADUATES – and those finishing your training now – are encouraged to apply! Dental therapists have been authorized to practice in Maine since 2014. A superb support staff will assist you through the licensing and credentialing process.

You are invited to join a large 43-operatory dental center with twenty dentists and an established general dental residency program, treating patients as an integrated member of our dental care team. This team offers preventive and specialty care (including restorative, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthetics and orthodontics) and walk-in care, all under one roof.

You will enjoy practicing in a collegial environment with the latest oral health technology including digital x-rays, fully integrated electronic medical records, and an on-site pharmacy. You will enjoy terrific support from your associates and administrative teams in this important mission-oriented practice providing care to an engaged patient population.
