University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Neurosurgery – Spine Fellowship The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is offering a one year, Neurosurgery Spine fellowship position starting in July 2020 with a possible additional slot in July 2021. UNM is the tertiary referral center for the Southwest and the only academic center in New Mexico offering neurological spine surgery around the clock. The spine fellow will work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment under the guidance of our experienced, subspecialty fellowship-trained, and board-certified faculty. The fellow is expected to actively participate in teaching of students and pre-residency fellows. For consideration, candidates must be graduates from an ACGME-accredited residency program and board-eligible. Salary is $70,000 plus call stipend and generous benefits.
