Description
The Yale School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified board-eligible neurosurgeon as Clinical Instructor for the Department of Neurosurgery. The Clinical Instructorship is a one-year, non-ladder junior faculty position that will take place for an academic cycle beginning on July 1, 2020, and ending on June 30, 2021.Requirements:
Completed neurosurgical residency Exceptional teamwork and mentorship abilities Fulfill requirements of Connecticut Medical Examining Board for state licensureResponsibilities:
Perform general intracranial procedures independently
Emphasis on spine surgery under the supervision of a faculty attending. Participate in general call at a Yale affiliated hospital
Averages 1-2 days per week Participate in spine call at our dedicated musculoskeletal hospital Averages 1 per month Yale University, the School of Medicine, and the Department of Neurosurgery provide a vast network of opportunities to collaborate with other departments and the community. The Clinical Instructor will have ample opportunity to expand and enhance their academic career development by working closely with residents, medical students, and participate in ongoing clinical research activities.
