The Cardiology locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina…
-Duration: September – December (potential for extension, rolling 90 days)
-Location: near Fayetteville, NC (on the board of South Carolina)
-Schedule: 20 day week days per month plus call
>Monday – Friday, 8a-5p (one hour break for lunch)
-Shift: 8a-12noon clinic, 12noon-5p rounds
-Call: 1:4 (one week day per week, and one weekend per month)
-Scope: Inpatient and outpatient general cardiology, EKG, Stress Test, Echoes
-Patient volume: 18-20 per day (once ramped up)
-Group: 3 other cardiologists, full staff of advance practice providers, nurses
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital: 452 beds, Level II trauma
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with North Carolina license at time of application
