The Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of the Baptist Health South Florida health system, in partnership with the Miami Cancer Institute, is offering a 6- 12 month radiosurgery fellowship for a neurosurgeon who has completed training at a US based neurosurgery program. The Miami Cancer Institute has a spectrum of radiosurgery delivery systems unlike any other center and offers an unparalleled opportunity for a neurosurgeon interested in radiosurgery. Responsibilities would include day to day participation in clinical radiosurgery on the spectrum of delivery systems including training in treatment planning, participation in a bi-annual training course and weekly radiosurgery conferences. There is opportunity for clinical research and it is expected the applicant would publish at least 3 peer reviewed articles and present at regional and national meetings.
Compensation will be based on PGY8 salary scale with the opportunity for additional clinical activity supporting neurosurgery after the first 2 months.
Position term: January 2021, or July 2021
