The Family Practice OB locum tenens opportunity in Tennessee…
-Location: Newport, TN
-Dates: December 2022 – May 2022 (potential for extension)
-Schedule: Call and Clinic Hours (Clinic is optional)
> Most pressing need is FP-OB Call - Fri 7p - Mon 7a - Every Weekend
> Will also look at providers that want M-F clinic and call
> They are flexible if providers want to add days on to the weekends
-Scope: True Rural FP-OB
> Patients seen in clinic (adults chronic care/OBGYN/Prenatal/Well Child visits, etc.)
> Level 1 nursery at hospital, No PEDs onsite, the FP-OB is responsible for mom and baby
-Volume:
> Clinic 16-20
> Hospital 125-150 deliveries/year on average (No VBACs intentionally)
>If C-section second call will come in
-EMR: Nextgen (clinic) Cerner (hospital)
-Travel: Apartment onsite owned by the hospital for locum providers
-Requirements: Neonate experience, TN or IMLC License, BC or Truly BE, vaccinated
