Duration: April - July (option to extend

Schedule: 8 hr day shifts, nights either 10's or 12's, weekend rotation

Scope: 100% inpatient, surgical first assist not needed. Primarily rounding, notes, patient management and presenting patients, responding to head trauma/bleeds and neurosurgery consults.

Procedures: Minimal procedures including drainage tube, ventric, line and suture removals.

Support: 7 other APPs

Required: Active Florida License

If NP: Must be Adult Acute Care NP with 3+ years of inpatient neurosurgery experience.

If NP with 10+ recent years of inpatient neurosurgery experience, acute care cert can be waived and FNP or adult NP certification will suffice.

IF PA: Must be certified and have a Master’s degree.  Must have 3+ years of inpatient neurosurgery experience
