Description
We have a Full-Time opening for a Psychiatric Nurse Manager at either our Administrative Office in Medford, Oregon or our Portland Service Center in Portland, Oregon. The Psychiatric Nurse Manager provides clinical nursing oversight of the Health Services Unit (HSU), and direct supervision and training of nursing staff for residential and service programs. ColumbiaCare is looking for someone who will honor and value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through professional modeling and mentoring.The Psychiatric Nurse Manager provides oversight to nursing operations in the HSU and residential and service programs to ensure that administrative operations, policies, and procedures are followed and that medication compliance standards are met. This includes hiring, onboarding, and training nursing staff, evaluating their performance, providing nursing consultation, and overseeing services provided by the nurses. The Psychiatric Nurse Manager also develops, implements, oversees, and evaluates quality assurance measures and other policies, procedures, and trainings, to ensure delivery of the highest quality of client care. This position does require occasional travel to multiple ColumbiaCare Services programs. Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week), 8-hour Day shifts, and some on-call work via phone
Skills
MUST have valid Registered Nurse license issued by the Oregon State Board of NursingPrevious experience providing acute psychiatric care, residential care, or outpatient community mental health treatment and management of staff required Experience with quality assurance preferred Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
