Location: Kansas City, MO
Duration: August 22 – on-going
Reason for coverage:
Schedule: 10-12 days of monthly EGS call
Shift: 7a-7p
Call: 7p-7a
Patient volume:
Scope: Trauma call coverage
EMR:
Hospital: Level I Trauma Center (ACS & State Verified) • 590-bed Acute Care Facility • Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, includes 1 designated for trauma) • 32 bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical) • ED Volume: 50k per year • Trauma registry avg 2300/ yr (20% penetrating) • HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
Group/support: Daily APP support
Requirements (boards, license): Board Eligible / Certified General Surgery with Trauma•Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
License: Missouri license*Travel, Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities*?
