The Urology locum tenens opportunity in West Virginia…
-Duration: February – August, if licensed (potential for extension or conversion to permanent)
>April – August if license application is required
-Location: near Morgantown, WV (100 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA)
-Schedule: 3-4 weeks per month
-Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p (operating room and clinic)
-Call: 1-2 weekends per month (1-2 procedures per weekend come through the ED, ED admits patients)
-Scope: Urological and kidney disorders (prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, impotence, kidney stones, sexual dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, incontinence, voiding disorders, bladder and renal cancer)
>option to use the XI robot
-Patient volume: 18 patients in clinic and 10-12 procedures per week
-EMR: Epic (both inpatient and outpatient)
-Group: Two other urologists
-Support: four physician assistants
-Hospital: 300 bed hospital, 248K capture area, Level IV Trauma level, University Affiliated
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with West Virginia license or willing to apply
