Description
Locums, Inc. is seeking a Physician for a client in suburban Birmingham, AL to provide evaluations for soft-tissue injuries and Workman’s Compensation claims. The position is a part-time position but will be on an on-going basis with no end date. Providers who are DOT Certified are desired, but client will certify the right-fit candidate at their cost. Malpractice covered by Locums, Inc.
About the Opportunity:
? Position is available immediately
? Duration will be ongoing with no sunset date
? Hours are 9am-5pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; If Wednesdays are unavailable, just Mon & Fri.
? 25-30 patient mix of new patients, injury follow-up visits, & physicals per day
? EMR Charting System: Systoc
? Typical evaluations are for soft-tissue injuries, lumbar sprain, cervical sprain, basic initial exam
? Support staff on-site includes NP, PA, and MA’s
? Paid training
? Paid Malpractice & Hourly compensation under 1099 contract
Position Requirements:
? Active and unrestricted Alabama Physician License
? Active and unrestricted DEA License
? DOT Certification (desired)
