Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Everett WA
Integrated Health is actively seeking a full time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for our Everett clinic.
strives to heal patients using our multi-faceted approach. Our PTAs carry their own caseload, receive weekly mentorship from our Physical Therapists, and are an important part of our clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with athletics, coaching and/or personal training. Must enjoy working in an integrated team atmosphere, that utilizes experts in various physical medicine fields to assist in treating a patient holistically. We have created a unique and fun atmosphere where you would be part of a collaborative team of professionals. Spanish speaking is preferred not required.
General responsibilities (with training and mentorship):
• Direct patient care/carrying own schedule under the guidance of our Doctor of Physical Therapy
• Understanding and documenting patient clinical encounters
• Maximizing patient flow for optimal patient-therapist encounters
• Understanding and managing insurance plans and authorizations
• Patient care plan coordination with internal and external providers
• Maintaining adequate condition and stock of equipment/materials needed for optimal care
Minimum Requirements:
• Active PTA license in WA State
• A passion for wellness and exercise (athletic/personal training experience is a plus!)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding customer service and ability to connect with a variety of ages and professions.
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Adaptable, flexible and efficient at mastering new skills
• Quick learner and excellent focus
• Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
• Attention to detail
• Strives to learn and grow
• Enjoys a fun, professional atmosphere
