Clinical Interventionist I
You will provide treatment for our clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, including Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS). You will also train parents and caregivers in the specifics of the Client’s program. Collect data, create graphs, assist with assessments, contribute to reports and maintain files.
You will communicate with clients, parents, and staff on a daily basis in regards to observations, progress, concerns, questions, preferences, etc. Coordinate with other program staff to ensure program consistency. Work in collaboration with coworkers to create a safe, client-oriented, active, positive environment.
Education/Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, preference is in one of the following fields: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Development, Sociology or related field
Minimum: Six months experience working in a teaching, coaching, or childcare position
Preferred: One + years’ experience working in the behavioral field and experience implementing behavioral interventions, (Click Apply Now to apply to this job). DTT, PRT, PECS, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast pace, loud environment, in which there are often competing or changing priorities
Ability to be a part of a cohesive and effective team
Must have patience and the ability to interact well with children and parents
Bilingual/fluent in Spanish helpful
