Physical Therapy Assistant Silver Spring, MD
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice full time in Silver Spring, MD. We are looking for a PTA to collaborate patient care progress with our current PT’s. Are you dedicated to helping patients feel and function better? Do you strive to get patients out of pain and back to their normal daily activities as quickly as possible? Who we are:
We are an outpatient orthopedic clinic that focuses on all levels of PT and rehab, with strong emphasis on manual therapy, dry needling, and therapeutic exercise. Our physical therapists provide a unique approach to pain care with a focus on individualized plans of care.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Assist with Exercises, Manual Therapy, and Modalities
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
• PTA licensed in MD
• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
Schedule:
• Flexible!
• Hours are 8am-7pm Monday through Thursday with a 3-day weekend every weekend!
Salary (range):
• $25-$30 per hour
