Position: Occupational Therapist – Bernice Vossbeck Elementary and Lynden Middle School
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
? ESA Certification – Occupational/Physical Therapist Specialist Certificate for the State of Washington or evidence of eligibility
? Washington State License
? Demonstrated ability to work with students, staff, administrators, and parents
? Demonstrated interest, commitment, and ability to work with special need students
? Demonstrated positive interactions with students
? Demonstrated ability to work with and provide direction to para educators
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and paperwork
? Demonstrated ability to listen deeply, identify critical issues and develop creative solutions to challenging situations
? Successful and recent experience as an Occupational or Physical Therapist with a student-age population preferred
? Interest in and evidence of continued professional growth in techniques for assisting students with occupational and physical therapy
needs preferred
? Demonstrated skills in working with both regular and special education teaching staff preferred
? Personal commitment and willingness to advocate for and demonstrate an appreciation for all children and their families
? Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the planning and implementation of special education services preferred
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work Year: 2021/2022 School Year
Starting Date: 09/02/2021

Salary: Per negotiated LEA contract
