Description
We Need 1 SLP Traveler:
• Start on 8/15 or 8/29. (TBD - Will consider alternative dates)
• END on ongoing need until year-round hire
Description of need:
• The Speech therapist will be the only full time SLP responsible for managing a small volume of hospital and SNF level patients. The primary caseload is outpatient pediatrics.
• MBS/VFSS -rare/occasional
• The physical location of sessions are expected to be at the hospital site at 57 Prospect street.
Support available:
• We have a prn pediatric SLP that consistently helps 10-16hrs/wk.
• We have strong support from Martha’s Vineyard to aid in orienting, MBS, etc.
Hospital Housing:
• The hospital will not house animals or other people
• Expect shared housing
• The hospital utilizes many private residences, an exact description is not usually possible
Other expectations:
• Vaccination and current booster will be required
• Expect 5 8hr days
• Dress code: business casual or scrubs
Hospital Orientation Dates:
8/15, 8/29, and 9/12
