(Click Apply Now to apply to this job) (ECA) is looking for an experienced Developmental Early Interventionist/Child Development Clinician, who resides close to the Culver City area. This is a part-time position of 15 to 20 visits per week and will cover the following cities:
Culver City 90230
Los Angeles 90025
Los Angeles 90044
Inglewood 90302
Hawthorne 90250
Gardena 90247
ECA is looking for an experienced early intervention Child Development Specialist that has a minimum of 2 years experience as an "Early Intervention Clinician". This position has the potential of growing to full-time benefited status if the clinician covers the San Fernando Valley two days per week.

What are the job duties?
Child Development Specialists (CDS) at ECA are responsible for:
• Providing developmental assessments and treatments in a play-based approach for children ages birth to 3 in their natural environment
• Providing parent education and home programs related to treatment goals
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of fellow treating clinicians
• Supporting and facilitating each child's progress through quality therapy, increasing opportunities for inclusion and enhancing trusted caregiver-child relationships
• Completing biannual progress reports utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools
• Other related duties
What are the job qualifications?
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as early intervention child development/developmental intervention clinician working with children ages 0 to 3 in the home environment
• Prior experience utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools (such as DAYC-2 or PDMS, Bayley, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Child Development or related field Required
• Backgrounds preferred as Child Life Specialist (CLS), Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), Developmental Interventionist (DI) or similar educational background
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
• Must submit developmental evaluation samples or developmental progress report samples
• Reliable transportation to patient's homes
• Must pass background check and drug screening
Required experience:
• Developmental intervention experience inclusive of utilization of standardized assessment tools: 2 years
Required education:
• Bachelor Degree or higher
