Description
The Hospitalist Locum Tenens opportunity near Albany, NY….
Starting: November 2017
Schedule: November 20-26, any Mon-Sun in December, and December 25-31
Shift Hours: Nights 8p-8a
Call: No Call
Weekend Requirements: As needed
Patients: Avg. of 12 admissions per shift (Adult)
Types of patient: 80% medicine, 15% surgery, 5% trauma
Hospital: Level II Trauma facility, 410 beds, 16 ICU beds
EMR: Cerner
Procedures: Non-invasive vent management, vent management, EKG Interpretations (specialty support available), option for: central lines, lumbar puncture
ER & ICU Admissions, History & Physical, Pre-Op Assessments, and part of House Codes-Rapid Response Team (only code blue)
Required: Board Certified in IM, Active NY license, previous Hospitalist experience, BLS/CPR, ACLS, ATLS, clean back ground
