We have a short 3 week locum tele-psychiatry opportunity available. Please see the details below:

Clinic Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: April 1-24

Reason for coverage: Provider on leave

Schedule: Monday – Friday and two weekends

Shift: 24 hour

Call: yes

Patient volume: 10-20 patients per day. Some days there is only 2 hours of work, some days there are 8 hours of work, but doctor needs to be on call in case a consult presents. Patient can hold until the morning to be rounded on. Hospitalist group takes care of the patients medical needs, history, and physicals.

Scope: Inpatient tele-psychiatry rounding with nurse practitioner, ages 18 and up.

EMR: Accussis (facility is able to give online orientation prior to starting).

Hospital: stand alone Behavioral Health Hospital.

Group/support: Group has been doing telepsychiatry for 2 years and are well equipped. Team includes other psychiatrists, behavioral health team, NPs, IMs.

Required: Board certified or board eligible (if recently trained or recently lapsed) Pennsylvania license and DEA required at time of application.
