Great community health clinic with multiple locations in the Charleston, South Carolina area seeking Dentist’s for their team. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 pm. You’ll work alongside a team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about serving the underserved and promote a wonderful work environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but NOT required. They’re offering a great salary, benefits which include dental, health and vision, PTO, 403b and more! Some responsibilities include: · Providing clinic based comprehensive dental care to the patients · Ability to work independently and interdependently with other dental providers · Ability to see 15-20 patients per day · Developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' oral health needs, including preventative and restorative procedures. · Performing dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. · Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that affect oral health. ?Requirements: Graduation from an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD degree. The school must be accredited by the American Association of Dental Education
SC Dental License or eligibility to obtain licensure in SC and current DEA with no restrictions and in good standing.
One or more years of experience as a clinical dentist preferred, especially in a community or public health setting.
Licensure& Privileges: Must possess current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of SC.
Must have current, valid unrestricted DEA registration. Must be able to be continuously insurable by FHCN’s professional malpractice carriers at reasonable rates. Must be able to participate in and maintain eligibility to receive reimbursement for services from both public and private health care insurers as required.
