The Laborist locum tenens opportunity in Delaware…
-Location: Delaware (one hour south of Wilmington)
-Duration: May – December (potential for extension)
-Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month
-Shift: 7p-7a
-Call: in house
-Patient Volume: average 6 births per day
-Scope: unassigned ED patients
-EMR: Epic
-Group: 24/7 in house OB hospitalist and anesthesia. On call pediatrician, MFM and neonatal. The nursing compliment to A-1 perinatal guidelines set by ACOG
-Hospital: level 3 trauma, level 2 nursery, 10 LDRs, 4 OB ED rooms – triage, 1pre-op, 2 PACU beds, 2 ORs that are against the NICU – which is on the same floor as the L and D; and 20 postpartum beds that are 1 floor up; we always have at least
-Requirements: 50 deliveries in the last 24 months, Board certified or board eligible with Delaware or compact license
