Hospital Medicine NP or PA needed for ongoing locum tenens contract
Location: Tucson, AZ
Start: ASAP - ongoing
Shifts - minimum of 12 per month required. Night Shifts, 12 hour (7a-7p or 3p-3a)
Volume: 300 bed hosp., 24 bed ICU
Census: 161, 23 patients per MD with APP help, 12 admissions per nightHospitalists respond to Rapid Response, Attend Codes (but do not run them), no trauma (re-routed) Physician & Intensivist on site during shift Requirements: PA-NCCPA only cert required; NP-has to be AANC or AANP; ACLS, BLS and PALS -AHA or American Red Cross required Hospital Info: 300-bed hospital offering a range of healthcare services including emergency services, accredited chest pain and heart failure programs, a nationally accredited surgical weight loss program, total joint program, spine program and stroke center (distinguished by the Joint Commission with Gold Seal designations), robotic surgery, GI lab, a free-standing women’s center, women’s imaging center of excellence (including 3D mammography), inpatient rehabilitation facility, wound care center and five urgent care facilities Credentialing - 30-90 days after receiving file Pay: $115 per hour, malpractice covered, travel & Lodging covered
