Description
The Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Maine…
-Location: northern, ME (direct flights from Newark, NJ)
-Duration: June – December (potential for extension)
-Schedule: 5-15 shifts in a row
-Shift: 24 hours, 7a-7a
-Annual ER volume: 7K (approximately 20 patients per day)
-Scope: Routine ED. Stabilize and transfer out (via air or ground). Runs code team.
-EMR: Cerner
-Group: 1MD, 1 NP, 1 RN per shift
-Hospital: 49 bed hospital, level III trauma center
-Requirements: Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine with Maine or compact license
