Part-Time Addiction Medicine Opening in San Antonio, TX

*Seeking a physician with 2+ years’ experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
*Active TX license and DEA required
*Ability to prescribe methadone required
*Board certified or eligible preferred
*Schedule: 22 hours per week (flexible scheduling options)
*Serve at 2 treatment centers located in the San Antonio area
*Contract Position - Industry Leading Compensation Offered

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
*Provide direct patient care, medical evaluations, and establish medication levels
*Interact as necessary with federal, state, county & other regulatory bodies, including: DEA, SMA, Medicaid, and SAMHSA/CSAT
*Planning and supervising provision of treatment for patients
*Initiates, alters and terminates replacement narcotic therapy medications following strict protocols
*Supervise patient care provided by physician extenders, sign charts, dosing levels, etc.
*Interview, train, manage, and evaluate subordinate physician extenders
*Implement and enforce medical policies, procedures, and training
*Providing reports & other data as requested to Regional VP, Ops /National Medical Director – OTP
