Nemours is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This position is full-time, evenings and nights.

The Emergency Department is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The Physician Assistant will perform direct patient care under the direction of the attending physicians with clinical practice in pediatrics and emergency medicine. The Physician Assistant must be able to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
•  History taking.
•  Performing a physical exam.
•  Clinical information synthesis and medical decision making.
•  Procedural competence.
•  Functioning as a team player.
•  Communicating effectively with patient care team members, consultants and, most importantly, families and children.
•  Carrying sufficient patient load.
•  Awareness of ED flow and operations.
Requirements
•  Experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
•  NCCPA certification.
•  DE state license.
•  CSR, DEA, PAL required.
