- Shifts available: Dayshift (8a-6p)
- Clinical Details
- They can be assigned up to 10 patients
- APP are expected to be able to complete a CC H&p or CC consult
- Daily progress notes on their patients.
- Respond with the intensivist to code blue
- Their notes must be cosigned and the attestation statement needs to be documented
- They can assist placing orders during MDRs
- They can lead rounds on the patients they are caring for and the intensivist will se
- Level 3 trauma center
- Certified stroke center
- Acute care hospital
- Setting: Medical ICU and Surgical ICU
- # of beds: 20 ICU beds
- Patient Mix: Mix of medical and surgical cases.
- Avg Census: 7-10 patients
- Requirements
- Skills/Procedures: Central line, arterial line and HD cath placement
- CC experience
- Active NY license
- Support Staff
- 24/7 in-house intensivist with APP coverage from 8 am to 6 pm
- EMR
