The locum tenens opportunity on the lake outside of Grand Rapids, MI….
-Start date: 4/1/2017 (duration 6+ months depending on your availability)
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
-Call negotiable: Rotating weeknight call (5p-8a, M-Th) and weekend (5p Friday- 8a Monday)
-Patients: 100% inpatient, adult (ADC varies 10-12)
>Average 10 patients per day seen which includes admissions, subsequent cares, discharges, and consults on medical units
-Physicians in group: currently two looking to add a third
-Staff: NPs, RNs, Social workers
-Hospital: 213 beds, 27 psy beds, EMR cerner dictation
-Scope: Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy (2 rooms in hospital), anxiety disorder, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders. (Eating disorders preferred, but not required)
-Required: Michigan License, BC or BE, BLS*Travel, Accommodations, Housing, Malpractice- PAID*
*Assistance with expedited credentialing- Provided*
