• 18-20 patients/shift
  
• Coverage for call & inpt consults, and a few outpt procedures.
  
• Only anticipate having to come in after hours for pt care rarely (food bollus) otherwise, hospitalists admit and consult GI for next day visit.
  

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible
  
• Active TN license or IMLC
  
• Fellowship preferred
  

Call

• Beeper
  
• 1:3 ratio
  
• Less than 10% call back
  
• 5-10 phone consults on avg per 24 hours
  
• 5 admissions on avg per 24 hours

• 1 MA
  
• 1 NP/PA
  
• 1 office staff
