Clinical Details

• We do not restrict providers from prescribing narcotics if they think that is the best course of action. We do not have an issue with drug seeking at our Urgent Cares.
  
• APP's do prescribe.

• 36 patients per day
  

Requirements

• NCCPA/AANP - NPs must be family nurse practitioners
  
• Active NJ license
  
• BLS
  
• Local
  
• Needs urgent care experience
  
• Clean background/no malpractice
  
• Covid19 vaccine
  
• Available for at least 6-12 shifts per month
  
• Willing to look at any provider who can work 4+ weekend shifts per month (current provider pool requirement)
  
• Required procedures:
  
  
  
  • Minor wound management and repair, incision and drainage of abscesses, reductions of simple digital fracture/dislocations, extremity splinting, foreign body removal from skin, pelvic exam
    
  
  
  

Support Staff

• Some sites are single-covered. Others have 2 providers, and the busiest sites have 3. One provider is always a physician but the 2nd and onward can be a mid-level provider(APP)
