ED Volume: 19500

60 bed + 11 ICU beds

temp emergency privs on clean file

Trauma Designation: Level IV

Open ICU

Specialty Back Up: Gen Surg, Card, Pulm, Neuro, Neuro Surgery, Nephrology, Ortho, OMFS

APP Coverage Model: 10a-8p

Submission Requirement

Board Certified ABEM or ABPS in EM

ACLS, ATLS, PALS

TX license & DEA required

We admit most of our adult patients. Transfers mainly for higher acuity trauma, ERCP, urology cases or for no capacity. We admit low acuity pediatrics. Majority of us have been here for 6 years+, we had physicians retired/moved in the past few years. Overall great relationship with specialties, hospitalists and nursing staff. We have a supportive administration.
