Description
Duration: ASAP - ongoing
Schedule: Flexible – Weekends, 7-day blocks, or full time. Clinic open Mon-Fri, must take C-section call
Shift: 4x10’s during the week (optional, or some variation of this), 24 hr. C-section call, option for 24 hr ED call 1 weekday if desired as well.
Call: Must do C-section call
Patient volume: Clinic 18-20/day, Deliveries 40-45/annually, (~20% via C-section)
Scope: FP-OB. Most important need is ability to take C-section call. The secondary need is to see all ages in the clinic (0-99). The hospital OB service delivers babies from 36 weeks to full term. No high-risk deliveries.
Hospital: 25 bed non-profit hospital is managed by a local board of directors. The hospital has 3 ICU beds, 2 birthing suites, and 2 surgical OR suites. It has a 24 hr ER department and rapid transport including fixed wing, helipad, and ambulance services.
Group/support: In clinic, provider has dedicated MA. In hospital, CRNA in House Mon-Fri daytime, then on call nights and weekends. Primary Care, Women’s Health including Gynecology and Obstetrics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology.
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years), OR license preferred but open to licensing.
Requirements: Must be able to provide C-Section Call. An obstetrics fellowship is not required. We will request your case logs.
