• Trauma Level 3

• Patients per shift: 20-35
  
• 30 Beds in Department
  
• General Surgery procedures including colorectal and small bowel limited to ED and inpatient - no elective surgeries; approximate mix historically - Gallbladder 45%, Appendix 23%, Incision and Drainage 13%, Exploratory Lap 8%, Hernia 5%, other 11% (no upper/lower scopes - GI service takes covers)
  
• May include patients in the ICU but also includes patients in the Med/surg or who present to the ED and operated on and then discharged
  
• Will see Pediatric patients for appendectomies
  
• Rounding on General Surgery patients/General Surgeons respond to full trauma activations (94 in 2019)

• Board Certified/Eligible
  
• BLS
  
• Active WA License
  
• Fellowship Preferred
