• 10-15 hospital based patients on average per day
  
• PPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries
  
• 400 Total number of beds
  
• 12 ICU Beds
  

Requirements

• Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA)
  
• Active Colorado License or active IMLC
  
• Active BLS, ACLS or must be willing to obtain
  
• Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures
  
• Clean background/no malpractice
  
• COVID vaccinated
  
• Required Procedures:
  
  
  
  • General CV/thoracic surgery* " open endoscopic
    
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery " on pump off pump
    
  • Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.)
    
  • Valvular " repair Endarterectomy (not specified below) replacement
    
  • Aneurysm repair " cardiac aorto-thoracic
    
  • ECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport
    
  
  
  
• Preferred Procedures:
  
  
  
  • Evaluation and management of acute vol /BP issues
    
  • Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter, IABP
