Description
The Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Oregon…
-Location: Oregon (30 minutes from the Tri-Cities airport)
-Duration: January – June (potential for extension)
-Schedule: 5-7 shift per month, PRN
-Shift: 7a-7p
-Call: 7p-7a call taken from hotel
-Patient Volume: 18 – 24 patients per day in total (8-12 of these patients will be seen by an APP during and supervised by the attending physician and then 2-6 admits per day split between the physician and APP).
-Scope: Med/surg and ICU management
>Cases not taken: STEMI patients, cardiac interventions, unstable bradycardia, complex respiratory failure
-Procedures: Intubations, vents, lines
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital: 18 beds in medical-surgical unit and 7 ICU beds
-Requirements: Board certified or board eligible with an Oregon license at time of application
