A recognized nonprofit organization in New York is actively seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team at one of their schools in the Westchester County. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!



About the Opportunity:

      
  • Assignment Length: Ongoing
      
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
      
  • Hours: 8:30am to 2pm
      
  • Setting: School-based
      
  • Patient Population: Pediatric IDD

Responsibilities:



The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for:

      
  • Providing the best possible quality care to all students
      
  • Evaluating and treating students with disabilities
      
  • Maintaining daily progress and attendance records
      
  • Writing progress reports
      
  • Attending IEP meeting
      
  • Recommending adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations or assistive technology
      
  • Perform other assigned duties, as needed

Qualifications:


      
  • 6+ months of related work experience (New graduates encouraged to apply!)
      
  • Bachelor's Degree
      
  • NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
      
  • NYS TSSLD

Desired Skills:


      
  • Experience working with the Pediatric population
      
  • Experience working with the MRDD population
